Great North Run 2026

A huge congratulations and thank you to our 15 amazing runners who took on the Great North Run yesterday!

They ran the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields in the sunshine, raising an incredible £4,950 for Mobile Education Partnerships – and the total is still growing! 🎉

We’re so grateful for all the training, fundraising and support that went into making this happen. Every pound raised will help MEP continue supporting teachers and students in communities affected by conflict and displacement in Myanmar and Thailand.

Thank you to our runners who came to find us at the finish – it was lovely to see you!

And a special mention to Bridie, our youngest fundraiser, who at just 5 years old took part in the Mini Great North Run and has raised an amazing £235 for MEP! 🌟
